Bass Coast Health is seeking applications from qualified social workers to work on a casual basis within our Community Support Services.  Bass Coast Health provides a professional supportive environment for social workers amid 16 funded programs servicing the Bass Coast region.


You will require:

  • Bachelor of Social Work
  • Experience and/or training in the role of the hospital social work preferred
  • Computer application skills
  • Proven ability to contribute productively to a multi-disciplined, professional, team focused environment
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with other social workers to ensure best service delivery for all referrals
  • Demonstrated commitment to the maintenance of case notes in medical files and hand over notes, and to the timely input of all data entry requirements
  • Proven capability to practice sound time management and prioritising strategies in response to work place demands
  • Proven capability to demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to fluctuating workloads
  • A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
