Position Description


Fixed-Term Full-Time 76 hours per fortnight (02/01/19 to 01/02/19 4.5 weeks)

Fixed-Term Part-Time 28 hours per fortnight (28/01/19 to 22/02/19 (8 weeks)



The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) team at Bass Coast Health (BCH) is looking to recruit qualified AHAs to fill the above vacancies to support all Allied Health Professional disciplines at BCH. The successful applicants will provide appropriate treatment to the acute/sub-acute inpatient and community clients, across multiple sites and settings under the instruction and supervision of an Allied Health Professional.


To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • Work experience in a health setting
  • Experience with direct patient care, including the ability to implement treatment plans
  • Computer literacy
  • The physical abilities adequate to facilitate all aspects of patient care
  • Good written, oral communication and time management skills
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Current Police and Working with Children Checks
