Fixed-Term Part-Time 24 hours per fortnight

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Registered Nurses for this role.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • A Registered Nurse – holding a current Registration Certificate as required by AHPRA
  • Post-graduate qualification in perioperative nursing or working toward same
  • A minimum of five years post-graduate experience and knowledge of Peri-Operative Services or demonstrated ability to learn
  • Experience in anaesthetics
  • Understanding and knowledge of iPM
  • Oncall as negotiated
  • Commitment to professional development of self and others
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret information; assess, plan and manage clinical care
  • Advanced data management / computer skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills in both written and verbal form
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient centred care
  • Demonstrated commitment to meet KPIs and associated quality improvements to ensure compliance
  • A valid Police Check and current Working with Children Check
