Registered Nurses- Permanent Part Time 0.42 to 0.84 EFT

Night shift and AM shifts –set days available


Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the major public healthcare provider within the Bass Coast Shire in South Gippsland. It is an integrated health service providing a range of acute, sub-acute, ancillary medical, aged and ambulatory care services.


Bass Coast Health is entering an exciting period of growth as we develop towards a sub-acute Health Service. We are seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses with relevant experience to work across the health service on a permanent part time basis at both Wonthaggi and San Remo sites.


A position means that you have varied working environments whilst enjoying guaranteed hours and leave benefits. We can offer set days and shifts. We are particularly interested in nurses working on either AM or night shifts.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the care of patients/residents across the following areas of the health service:

  • Acute Medical/Surgical
  • Haemodialysis *
  • Sub-Acute and Residential Care (Wonthaggi and San Remo)
  • Emergency Care *
  • Operating Suite *
  • District & Palliative Care Nursing
  • Hospital in the Home * (Wonthaggi and San Remo)

* Pool Nurses will require appropriate experience/qualifications to work in speciality areas



  • Current Registration with the NMBA without conditions or restrictions
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent contemporary patient/resident care
  • Well-developed clinical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Relevant experience/qualifications to work in speciality areas
  • Flexibility in shift availability
  • A valid Police Check
  • A desire to be part of a growing health service
  • A willingness to display and support the Bass Coast Health Values of Wellbeing, Excellence, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Equity


Successful candidates will report to the Health Services Coordinator and will be supported in their orientation and development by the Learning and Development team.
