As a member of the Women & Families Team you will be required to work across the continuum of midwifery, this includes: ante-natal, intra-partum, post-partum and domiciliary care.

Requirements for the position:

  • Current registration with NMBA
  • Current FSEP/Neonatal resuscitation
  • Well-developed clinical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards of practice, legal and ethical requirements and industrial relations
  • Ability to time-manage and work in a busy ward environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Prepared to work rotating day/night/weekend shifts
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence will be required for Domicilary
  • A valid police check and current working with children check
