BUSINESSES GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Bass Coast Health recently received a donation from the Local Business Network to assist local families in crisis.

The Local Business Network – Bass Coast and South Gippsland - was established by Graham Fitton in June this year to improve business resilience in the area and to support the local community.

Shortly after its formation, the Network established a Community Donation Program where its clients could nominate a worthwhile local recipient to receive a donation.

The program’s first donation of $250 was recently made to Bass Coast Health as a result of a nomination by Nicole Griffiths and Leisa Griffiths from Network client Mookah Studio.

Local Business Network Bass Coast and South Gippsland founder Graham Fitton explained, “Bass Coast Health’s Family Services, Family Violence and Sexual Assault services do a fantastic job across a very broad catchment area in assisting families in crisis. It is my great pleasure to donate these funds to help them provide this care where it is most needed”.

BCH Operational Manager Claudia Murray-White gratefully received the donation, saying, “This money will allow us to purchase essential items for families who have been impacted by family violence”.
