The front doors to West Gippsland Hospital have now RE-OPENED. People can WALK up the new pathway into the hospital or the Emergency Department.
Drop off and 15 minute parking is available in front of Cooinda Lodge besdie the new Short Stay Unit bein g built or people can park in the main car park and walk to the front doors.

Unfortunately the new driveway being built near the front doors of the hospital is not yet open to vehicles.

If people need wheelchair access or assistance to get in they will still need to drive around to the back of the Emergency Department (ED) where the ground is flatter.

Follow the yellow painted line on the main driveway off Landsborough Street to the back of ED. There are 5 minute car spaces for patient drop off and emergencies. Please do not park in or block the ambulance bays.

A Volunteer concierge team can assist with directions during the day and after hours an intercom is available for entry through the back doors to the Emergency Department

Significant construction work has been taking place at the hospital to build a new 8 bed short stay unit to support the Emergency Department, a new operating theatre as well as new driveway and parking at the front of the hospital.

The new driveway and parking area is due to be opened this month.

WGHG apologises for the disruption these works have caused and thank people for their patience.
